BAK-4 glass is a top-quality material with a higher refractive index and lower dispersion than BAK-7 glass. This means prisms made of BAK-4 deliver brighter, clearer images with minimal chromatic aberration and distortion, even at the edges of the visual field. While it's more expensive to produce, BAK-4 is superior in quality to BAK-7 in all aspects.
